[This is entirely Zhu Li's fault.
For being missing, obviously.
If she weren't missing he'd be able to find anything. Because just at the moment he
can't.
Everything is just dark and disorganized and he has no idea what to do on his own and this calls for a brainstorming session pronto.
But then of course his pole is missing.
It is those reasons and no other which has now resulted in Varrick hanging upside down off a telephone pole in Avatar Korra park.
